How this guide was made
The candidate list is the Town of Oakville's official certified list (nominations closed August 21, 2026). Commitments are paraphrased from each candidate's own campaign website or public questionnaire answers, each with a link to where it appears. A commitment is marked specific when it names a concrete, checkable action, such as a target, a place or a named program. Election results, past roles and council records come from Town of Oakville pages, news reports and published results, and are linked under each candidate.
If a candidate has no published platform, or their website could not be read, the guide says so rather than filling the gap. Candidates who publish more after September 29, 2026 may not be reflected. Always check the candidate's own site before you vote.
Each ward elects two people: a Town Councillor , who sits on Oakville Town Council, and a Town & Regional Councillor , who sits on both Oakville Town Council and Halton Regional Council. Everyone in Oakville also votes for mayor. School board trustees are also on the ballot but are not covered here.

This site counts visits with Google Analytics, which uses cookies. Your quiz answers stay in your own browser and are never sent anywhere.
The street lookup uses the Town's ward boundaries (in effect since 2018) matched against OpenStreetMap street data, and runs entirely in your browser. If you tap Use my location , your approximate coordinates are sent to Open North's Represent service to find your ward; this site does not store them. Your voter information card and the Town's ward map are the official sources.
